Rozalyn Anderson

Dr. Anderson has been conducting research into the biology of aging and CR since 2000. She obtained her bachelors degree in Biochemistry from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and received a PhD in Biochemistry from University College Dublin, Ireland. Dr Anderson began investigating CR and aging during her first post-doc at Harvard Medical School, Boston MA working with Dr. David Sinclair in a yeast model. Dr. Anderson extended her studies into mammalian models working with Dr. Richard Weindruch at the UW-Institute on Aging and later, in her position as an Assistant Scientist at the Wisconsin National Primate Research Center. Dr. Anderson joined the UW SMPH Department of Medicine faculty in 2010 as an Assistant Professor, was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2016, and promoted to full professor in 2021.
